I'll be teaching all day homebrew classes twice this fall: Sat Sept 27 at Everett Community College and Sat Oct 18 at Shoreline Com. Coll. Both classes go from 10 AM - 3:30 or 4, and will cover everything you need to know to make high quality fuel (ie likely to pass ASTM standards) from waste vegetable oil. We will do hands-on titrations, make small batches, and operate a small Appleseed processor to make a few gallons of fuel during class, so you can see the whole process. I will also discuss the virtues of the BioPro automated processor which my coop has been using very happily for over a year. We will also go over how to do methanol recovery with a simple reflux still. For more information, and to register, go to www.biolyle.com
